Calvary Chapel Irmo is seeking to hire a new Children’s Ministry Director. A devoted Christian who has a passion and vision for children’s ministry. This director will oversee the children’s ministry at Calvary Chapel Irmo promoting an environment for our children to excel in their faith and Christian education. We want someone who will be creative with new and challenging ways to engage our children. The director will be responsible for selecting curriculums to be used for children’s classes (Curriculum plans are subject to the Pastor’s approval), to schedule teachers and assistants for nursery, toddler, and elementary age classes on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and events that are for the entire church, to put together a VBS each summer and a children’s program for Christmas each year. We expect the Children’s Ministry Director and their family to integrate and become a part of the Calvary Chapel Irmo family. The Children’s Ministry Director’s weekly schedule is Sunday mornings 9:30 to 12:30, Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 9:00, and the director will also be compensated for weekly ministry planning and preparation time.
